About ILEAA
The International Law Enforcement Auditors Association (ILEAA) is an association comprised of sworn and civilian auditors who work in law enforcement or related agencies.

 
Mission Statement
The mission of the International Law Enforcement Auditors Association (ILEAA), is to provide global leadership in increasing the knowledge, skills, abilities, and professionalism of law enforcement agency auditors and those whose professional duties and responsibilities include the oversight, enforcement, and administration of issues related to the enforcement of the law, thereby contributing to the quality of law enforcement throughout the world.

The Association is dedicated to the development and promotion of the practice of professional auditing by providing its members with the resources, information, and leadership that will enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit their clients, their employers, the public, their country, and the international law enforcement community.

Current membership is made up of both sworn and civilian personnel from law enforcement agencies, as well as local government auditing departments, and other organizations from Australia, Canada, Greece, and the United States.

 
To accomplish its Mission, ILEAA will...
1) Provide a focal point for the networking and sharing of ideas.

2) Confer professional certification  on   those auditors who  have successfully completed a program of study in the auditing/risk management field, who demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of  law enforcement auditing, and have practical experience in the field of  law enforcement.

3) Encourage the professional development and increased knowledge of the auditing profession by providing  training, as well as other opportunities for regular and continuing professional development.

4) Serve as a repository of audit information and audit techniques particularly applicable to the field of law enforcement auditing.

5) Encourage creative thinking and development of new ideas and methods that significantly advance the collective wisdom within organizations.
