To provide global leadership in increasing the knowledge, skills, abilities and professionalism of law enforcement agency auditors.
In concert with this mission, ILEAA encourages the professional development of the auditing profession by providing training, as well as other opportunities for regular and continuing professional education.
ILEAA also offers professional certification in auditing and risk management of law enforcement agencies.
Current membership is made up of both sworn and civilian personnel from law enforcement agencies and other organizations in the United States and Canada.
