| Message from our Membership Chair: |
| Many law enforcement agencies are beginning to utilize a progressive approach to identify a more efficient and effective service delivery system which also incorporates quality public safety services. With the current economic environment, agencies are looking at identifying & reducing risks while creating an ongoing evaluation of internal department processes, which provides greater accountability to their community and builds public trust. This is where ILEAA comes in!
ILEAA’s membership consists of the highest caliber of professionals who possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of law enforcement auditing. In addition, they are willing to go to great lengths to assist other agencies in establishing their own audit processes.
Being a part of ILEAA will enable you to make connections that will be instrumental in developing an Internal Audit Unit within your agency. You will meet professionals who are able to provide information on Government Auditing Standards, Risk Assessment Models, as well as Detention and Operational Audits.
